I am about to celebrate my 46th birthday in a few days, and I JUST this past weekend bought my FIRST pair of SBs and all I can ask is, "WHY did it take me so long?" It happened accidentally...I was strolling along the sidewalk of Park Avenue, in my hometown of Winter Park, and was stopped in my tracks by a fab pair of orange & blue sandals. Being a true Florida Gator, I knew I had to have them. The next day, my hubby kids and I were having lunch on the Avenue, and I snuck away in the middle of the meal on a mission...to snag those sandals! Got them home, admired and drooled over them some more, and then happened to turn the box over and read the Bonanno's story. That was it...I'm hooked! I feel like I just became a member of a fabulous secret club...better late than never! -- Valerie

The days of my wearing my Bonanno's are quickly coming to a close (Iowa doesn't do hot weather very long), but I just wanted you to know that besides the fit (no blisters), the elegance and style of a Bonanno sandal, the BEST part is the smell - real leather -can't get enough. LOVE IT! Never experienced it with a JR.

Wow, all I say is I love your sandals and feel as though I've been duped all these years! Duped into believing that the Navajos I loved were the originals and the best made. I was wrong on both counts! My friend Beth told me that I needed a pair of Stephen Bonanno's, to try them over my other Navajo sandals. Best decision ever! Your sandals are beautifully crafted and wear so much better than the other maker's. Also, I don't need to break in your sandals like the other ones. My feet are happy now!

Just a note to let you know that your Bonanno sandals are once again on the road. It's not Tuscany this time but Chicago, Dayton, OH and Washington DC. We're all over the place and I'm in "style". I've got my latest pair (in addition to the others) with me and they are incredible!! I've never had blisters or chafing with SB's and I can't say that about Jack Rogers. LOVE YOUR STUFF!! I'm slowly replacing the J. Rogers in my closet with your wonderful creations. (I owe your existance to Melissa Morris). I may even venture into a monogrammed bag or two. THANK YOU! Lisa

I just received my first-ever pair of Bonannos in the mail and the first thing I thought was "What on earth took me so long to order a pair of these?" They are even more beautiful than I expected; they look like summer in a box and they fit perfectly. I don't have many places (or any places) to wear them in chilly northern Virginia right now, but I whispered to them about all the fun they will have when we go to Mexico in just a few short months and they are just as excited as I am! I LOVE MY BONANNO's! I am already losing sleep over which color combo to order for this spring/summer. Last fall, my sister, Katie, ordered brown faux gator with perruche stitching. Is the faux gator pictured under the "customize your sandals" the same as the color she ordered. They are fabulous and look great with all of the green handbags featured this spring. My husband & I were in your new shop this morning picking up another sandal order. Please know we enjoyed our visit with you two regarding our dogs and our recent loss. You two were so sweet to share your time with us. It meant so much. Later today I remembered something that happened not long ago I thought you two might enjoy.....
Our Blk Std Dachshund, Chance, had the crazy habit of licking the inside of my husbands shoes. One day I had left my Bonanno's out and later found him licking the inside of them. I screamed for my husband that he was actually licking my Bonanno's. Being the neatnick that I am, I was in total shock!
At that my husband yelled back, "What can I tell you, he has GOOD TASTE!!!"

My wife Persephone owns a number of your sandals and I think she usually calls in her orders. Anyway, we own a store in Portland called Agatha & Louise www.agathaandlouise.com and yesterday evening a woman walked in our shop with a pair of Jack Rogers on. I adore all of my sandals made by you guys! This day {of hiking} especially sold me! I am a VERO BEACH native and have worn these sandals my entire life! You recently made these for me w/ my monogram! (probably my faves!) Any way... my boyfriend did NOT tell me we were going to do any hiking when we visited White Pines Park and well... there I was trekkin' through the woods in my sandals and they still look perfect. As a teacher of English at a local high school, I normally use my time grading essays rather than writing fan mail, but I feel compelled to express how much I adore my "Bonanno" sandals. They are so comfortable that I would wear them in snow if my feet would not freeze. I have to tell you that I have spent lots of money over the years on a famous brand that were never as comfortable, as well-fitting or as durable as your sandals.
